Tkbabel/Tclbabel - Babelfish frontends
Version 0.59

Copyright 2000-2001 by Chris Danis

NOTE - If upgrading, be sure to remove the old files from /usr/local/bin
(tclbabel, tkbabel, and Babelfish.tcl). The locations have changed.

Tkbabel and tclbabel are rather simple tools I have made to access Babelfish,
the translation service of Altavista, without a webbrowser. You do, however,
need tcl/tk, and the http package, for them. They were really made 'cause I got
the idea, decided that I could do it, and would be faster than using Netscape or
even Lynx. However, it does not currently support giving babelfish a URL. That
will be implemented by 1.0.

HTTP proxy support is there - set the http_proxy environment variable to a valid
URL (i.e. http://gateway:8080/) and it will use that proxy.

Comments, suggestions, whatnot - send to dadanish@usa.net. Or, meet me on IRC in
#linuxguru on undernet.
